The Boulder

Do you feel the weight of life on your shoulders? Is there pain from your past that you haven't let go of? Perhaps it's not so easily identifiable as one instance, maybe it's an unrest that could be summed up in the saying, "wherever you go, there you are".

The boulder calls us to be present by its sheer weight. Sooner or later you will need to notice it. And that's a good thing. Because although pain is always uncomfortable, the act of noticing it and being with it, opens doorways to peace and acceptance. It's this very pain that causes us to awaken to our need for peace and happiness, our need for surrender and forgiveness.

When you notice the boulder, all of your timelines merge into the present moment and the weight is dispersed. Your life situation isn't so serious or dreadful any longer. You feel lighter. The life energy that was stuck is freed and you return to living in the stream of now.
